I'm very new to linux running Mandriva 2007, and i'd like to say, this was an excellent guide, i used the rpm part as i couldn't for the life of me work out what i needed to do to install tilda. Thankyou very much.

-Just noticed Tilda is in the urpmi listing... That would of been easier. But i know now at least. Thanks.

If you have a Debian-based distro (including Ubuntu) and you can't find a .deb package; only an .rpm package, then you can use a tool called Alien to convert it and install it.
