AppleCare is amazing. I have a friend who recently dropped his MacBook and the HD didn't work right (it wouldn't boot). Jacob helped guide me through FSCK but the drive kept returning OK. Apple was able to fix the computer easily (I think they replaced the HD) but that's just testament to the awesomeness of AppleCare. Another friend is going to be buying his first mac soon and almost didn't get the AppleCare plan... I had to convince him otherwise. It's the best support in the industry in my mind!
