DfontSplitter on Mac OS X is built around the command line tool Fondu.
As such, Fondu sometimes has issues splitting certain fonts and can sometimes produce TTFs which will not be recognised when moved over to a Microsoft Windows system.
At the moment, I am not aware of a specific fix to tweak the TTFs so that Windows can read them, other than to use a commercial package (which somewhat defeats the object of DfontSplitter). Please see this comment on my blog for more details.
Additional issues experienced with the Mac version of DfontSplitter will be added here. If you would like to report an issue, please get in contact.
