Gone too far

That’s it. The DMCA has gone too far. If it can be abused in such a serious and dangerous way as that, then we’re all in big trouble.

Someone stop the DMCA now. It should be made illegal.

    For example, while my hosting is obviously done completely from the UK due to my self-host setup, DynDNS handle my DNS. If someone wanted to DMCA take-down me, they could go to DynDNS and force them to down me because they’re US-based.

    I don’t know whether that would work actually, but my point is, if just one little bit of your infrastructure is US-based, you are affected by it.

    Sigh.
